Submission Guidelines

Submission period: March 15 to May 15
​
Please send us your work using our submission form during the submission period. Work submitted via any other method may not be considered for publication.
Successful contributors receive a complimentary digital edition of the issue in which their poem appears. Three poems are chosen from submissions to each issue and honored as award poems with short essays by the members of our Readers Board. Award poets receive small monetary sums, currently $50, as well as a complimentary print edition of the issue.

Our submission deadline (May 15) indicates when we read manuscripts. Submitters can expect a publication decision by August 15. We request that poets submit no more than six poems for consideration for each issue. Poems of any length may be submitted.

Simultaneous submissions are permitted. Submitted poems should not have been published elsewhere. We ask for first-time rights only; copyright reverts to the poet upon publication.
